Designer Men's Clothes vs. High Street

FRIDAY, FEB 12, 2010
The High Street is the focal point for retailers in the centre of cities, and is always used in reference to
retail business. In the US, the equivalent would be Main Street.
Designer Men's clothing is ideal for those who can afford prices that are commonly much higher than what's
on offer in the high street. Generic men's clothing and unknown brands are generally less expensive and can
be found at most retailers, whereas certain designer's men's clothing must be purchased online or directly
from the store. These men's clothes designer stores are only found in major cities, and almost never found
in smaller towns and rural areas.
High street menswear stores can be in any city, and town and any area. High street men's clothes could mean
a simple hat, shirt or trousers that have the same look as many designer men's clothing brands, at a lower cost.
Some designer menswear is sold in high street stores. Designer labels such as Tommy Hilfiger sell some of
their men's clothes to high street stores at discount prices. Sometimes designer clothes are sold at high street
stores such as TK Maxx due to minor imperfections such as errors in stitching. But for the most exclusive
fault-free designer labels, online shopping is the most cost effective way to buy designer.
Designer men's clothing
stores have a loyal following amongst those who appreciate the finer things in life.
The rich and famous of course would generally not be caught dead buying men's clothes from a high street store.
But you don't have to be rich and famous to buy designer labels. For example, these days, you can buy yourself
designer denims for as little as £50.00.
Some may say that high street clothing is created from the same materials, and sell for much less than designer
labels, but generally speaking you get what you pay for. Designer clothes are often superior in quality, look
better and last longer.
For those who normally can't afford designer brands, there's a good chance they can find genuine designer labels
on sale or stock clearances online.
If looking for designer men's clothing, there is the possibility of high street stores carrying these brands,
depending on where you live. If you live in a large city such as Milan or New York, these streets can hold many
designer men's clothes brands on high street, but remember you'll be paying less if you purchased your designer
menswear online. If you live in some of the smaller towns or rural areas then buying online would probably be
your only option.
Online fashion stores offer national and often international shipping, and this allows for a broader audience to
purchase and admire the lines. High street shops generally will offer a website for the larger chains, but for
locally.
Designer Menswear in the US

MONDAY, FEB 01, 2010
Major men’s designer brands in the US are much the same as in Europe. Designers such as Tommy Hilfiger are known worldwide,
and are bought more in the US, but are known and purchased in other parts of the world as well. Other designers like Armani,
Perry Ellis, Canali, Munsingwear, Hagger and Dockers are also known and purchased in Europe even though they are not bought at
the same rates.
The most popular brands in the United States are Tommy Hilfiger and Nautica as well as Old Navy. Old Navy and Nautica are not
known widely in Europe, but are purchased on the internet by those that are in the know. Canali and Munsingwear are not quite
popular in Europe, although they are widely known. Apparently those fashions suit the tastes of Americans more than Europeans.
Hagger and Dockers are very commonly found in Europe and are sold in major chains much as they are in the United States.
These fashion designer labels are splashed across television screens around the world, even in the most remote of areas, as long as
there is cable or satellite television. Even though some people may think that Europe is a world away, there are still ads on their televisions as much as they are on Americans’ televisions every day. These designers are more than willing to sell to anyone who will purchase their clothing. Men’s designer brands in the US are different than what is found in Europe, as Europe tends to lean towards
brands that are created in their portion of the world. Less purchases of American made clothing lines are seen in Europe than in
any other country in the world.
When it comes to major men’s designer brands in the US, they may be widely known but that does not mean they are widely purchased. Trends between the US and Europe vary drastically when it comes to fashions that men wear, majorly impacted by the climate differences in the two areas. However, for those clothing lines that offer men’s clothing that both climates are able to use, the sales are about the same for most designer’s lines.
Designer Swimwear and Fashion Accessories for Men

FRIDAY, JAN 08, 2010
When it comes to swimwear,
sunglasses and fashion accessories for men, there are not many designers that leave them out
in the cold. However, Calvin Klein and Hugo Boss offer large men’s designer swimwear fashions.
Accessories have never been easier to come by from designers, as many of these designers are
seeing that there is a call for matching appropriate briefcases and shoes with the right suit.
Cufflinks, belts, hats, swimwear, gloves and scarves as well as ties, wallets and sunglasses
are now being offered through many designers.
Designers like Gucci offer all of these items to men as well as swimwear, and their cost is
comparable to their female counterparts’ clothing lines. Companies or designers such as
Tateossian offer only specific accessories such as cufflinks, sunglasses and belts, while others
like Paul Smith offer swimwear, sunglasses and every stitch of clothing and accessory known to
man.
For that man that is hard to shop for, cufflinks are always a great gift. Tateossian offers
many types of sunglasses and cufflinks that are able to be shipped anywhere around the world.
These great cufflinks can be found in silver, steel, gold and brass, and are available with
genuine gems or simple replicas. Swimwear for men should be picked personally, as a gift of
swimwear is never really a gift if you have to take it back.
Also offered by this company are wallets, scarves and gloves which are always appreciated
when cold weather hits. Men of all ages are expected to help females in cold weather by
scraping windows or pumping gas, so the more protection against the elements a man has
the better.
The most popular fashion accessory for men is the briefcase.
Paul Smith offers more than 20 types of briefcases, and each is known for its own style and
flair. For the man who has all the ties, suits and wallets he can handle, a briefcase comes
in handy.
For work or leisure, briefcases can be the best gift that will actually be used. Sunglasses,
scarves, gloves, ties or cufflinks, the options are endless for gift giving.
Geometric Patterns for Men's Fashion

FRIDAY, SEP 18, 2009
Men's clothes and apparel are usually discarded when one talks about style and fashion,
but this shouldn't be the case at all. More to the point, when it comes to men's fashion,
no man should be left behind! Whether one is discussing about men's clothes, men's jeans, or
men's shoes, men should have an invaluable resource at hand that helps them cultivate a
stylish and unique personal image in all aspects and tastes.
Discussions of how to purchase the perfect items for your wardrobe, colour matching,
understanding fabric care and alterations, and design houses should be encouraged and
focused upon in order to improve the fashion sense of the male populace. At any rate,
one of the trendiest patterns amongst businessmen as well as those who prefer a more
conservative wardrobe is the geometric patterning scheme. In fact, it has recently run
amok in business suits, dress shirts, and neckties.
Men's clothes sporting geometric patterns are likely the most regularly found patterned
fabrics and items for men within the modern-day fashion circle. They're certainly more
popular than floral or paisley patterns for fairly obvious reasons: geometric shapes
exude a manlier appeal, especially for men who fancy a subtler approach to men's fashion.
What's more, it's best used when coordinating office wear in a business casual frame of mind.
Many sartorial experts agree that geometric patterns have a more conventional, old-fashioned,
and conformist appeal than the more bombastic styles of paisley and floral, although there
are a couple of exceptions to this rule. The reasoning behind this statement is based on
the artistic effect that this type of pattern brings to a piece of clothing—that is, its
symmetrical nature produces a visual imprint that suggests predictability, order, authority,
and professional acumen.
